This is a very new ultra urban micro car that has been manufactured by Smart GmbH. The car was first brought out in the public in the year 1998 at the Paris Motor Show. It has been here for a while now and is in its second generation. The car has now shifted from being fuel dependent to its all electric version. The car also known as a city coupe is only a 8’10” long and has an exposed rigid steel frame that defines the car shape. It is extremely light weight at only a 730 kg .
The car has a rear mounted engine. . In spite of its size the car manages to include side airbags and an electronic stability control. The car has managed to pass all the crash tests with a rating of Good. The car is available in most international markets and is considered a very good buy in there.
